The purpose of this assignment is to help you think through the importance of social, legal, and ethical issues that may arise with the product and the implications of decisions made within those frameworks. This knowledge helps to prevent such issues when developing the marketing strategies in their marketing plan. Producing and marketing a product without regard to ethical, legal, and social considerations is detrimental to the overall success of any company.
This is the final marketing plan. Thus, incorporates all previous week plan assignment summaries and new sections created in this assignment.
Assignment Steps (all to be added into one final word document)
Part 1: Document in 250 words (no more no less) the ethical, legal, and social issues affecting your product in both markets (U.S. & the international market).
Part 2: Develop in 250 words (no more no less) a “process” to monitor and control marketing performance of the product.
Part 3: Formulate a 300-word executive summary including at a minimum the following elements:
Product Identification
Strategic Objectives of the Marketing Plan
Part 4: Integrate summaries from previous weeks’ sections into the final marketing plan. (Be sure that what you incorporate are corrected content per section based on instructor’s weekly feedback.)
The final marketing plan (Part 4 of this assignment) should be 1200 words (no more no less) and include summaries of each in this order:
Understanding Target Markets (Week 2)
Promotion and the Product Life Cycle (Week 3)
Price and Channel Strategy (Week 4)
Marketing Communication and Brand Strategy (Week 5)
Note: Charts/graphs/diagrams do not count toward the word count.
