This time you will incorporate what you have learned about curriculum and instruction to design a lesson that is responsive to diverse needs. First, select a state, national, or local standard that corresponds to the subject and grade level you teach. Next, select a direct instruction, practicing and deepening, or knowledge application approach. Finally, incorporate a design that is directly reflective of student readiness levels, learning profiles, and interests in your classroom. Throughout your lesson, use APA in-text citations to reinforce your instructional decisions with research.
