The article should include case studies of organisations and individuals, to exemplify and illustrate the points made. The learner should provide relevant and specific information. This must illustrate how different training and development methods, such as talent management and provision of training opportunities, can be used to attract, develop and improve both individuals and teams. The learner should provide an in-depth explanation of the incentives and rewards that organisations put in place for managers to use, along with a review of the impact that they may have on both individuals and teams. The learner should use real-life examples to illustrate the points which are made. The learner must refer to a range of motivational theories and consider their application in actual practice in organisations. The work must lead to a balanced assessment and judgements of their contribution to organisations. The learner should provide a factual and detailed account of the people management strategies being used by managers in their chosen organisation, considering the different approaches in turn.
