Introduksjon: This course provides an introduction to globalization processes that affect our everyday lives and our social relationships in a world that is perceived as less and less. In education, the term “globalization” be subject for interdisciplinary analyzes, especially considering the impact of economic liberalization in the north has had for developing countries in the south. Is globalization a process that increases or decreases the differences between rich and poor? The course will also focus on the impact that tourism and increased migration causes in our community. Why growing amount of people moving within countries and across borders. What are the consequences for culture and identity, and how does this affect our local workplace? Globalization processes also about how new technology is changing the way we communicate and how we communicate about. What consequences does the development of new technology for youth and religious movements, and how to influence these rapid changes our identity?

Mandatory work requirements

reflection on experiences from their own practice.
My practice/work consist of working with young kids between 12-15 years old who has a different relegious and cultural background. The tile of my job is called guidance counselor for kids who has a minority background. My work is basically to give advicse and help out kids who struggles beetween two cultures ( majority culture, the norweian and the minorty cukture exmaple muslim, hindu, jduaism etc. I also provide the school/teachers that I work with advise on how to approach pupils who has a different cultural and relegious background. Remember I also live and come from Norway.
