1. In this week’s discussion, we will apply the lessons of the readings and our experience with taking surveys. Using your resources, including the videos viewed in the prior module and your notes from the surveys you took this week, you will create a short survey on a topic of your own choosing. Think about your potential research topic (Abortion) – what questions would you want to ask? Alternatively, use an already published measure on your topic and recreate that survey as part of potential suite of questions you may potential use to test your ideas.
2. Surveys should include both demographic questions and substantive questions designed to measure your chosen dependent variable. Surveys should include a variety of question types (open-ended, Likert, scale, etc). Surveys will be created within Qualtrics and a link to your survey will be distributed to the other members of the class.
